Doing Businesses in Turkey Seminar is designed to give regional companies the tools to work with U.S. Customs, Customs house brokers, to successfully import and export goods and conduct business in the 2008 honored country. Government commerce officials and import and export specialists will speak on topics such as payment processes and sourcing resources for import and export goods. The InternationalTradeCenter and the Memphis in May International Festival co-sponsor this event with the Memphis Regional Chamber.

of the Memphis Regional Chamber created to facilitate international development in

The Memphis Downtown Rotary Club, one of the oldest and most prominent civic service organizations in the mid-south region, will focus their weekly luncheon meeting on U.S. Turkey relations today. Ambassador Sensoy, the Turkish Ambassador to the U.S. since January 2006, previously served his country as Ambassador to Russia and Spain, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Chief of Staff to the President. Ambassador Wilson the American Ambassador to Turkey since December 2005 is a career officer in the US Foreign Service and has previously served as Ambassador to Azerbaijan as well as key positions in the Department of State and postings at U.S. Embassies in Australia, Russia and Prague.
