Thank you for your interest in the Memphis in May Memphis Barbecue Association.  As barbecue grows in popularity across the country, more cities and towns are using barbecue contests as a way to bring their communities together for a weekend of fun, camaraderie and serious competition.

As a member of the network, the benefits are many.  You can draw on the experience of 28 years of producing the world's largest pork barbecue contest, drawing over 250 teams from all over the United States and the world, and 19 years of administrating a national network of barbecue contests.  Partnering with Memphis in May allows for greater exposure for your contest, in addition to providing your Grand Champion an opportunity to compete in Memphis against the best of the best at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.
