Hailing from the small town of Norwalk, CT, Goose fluidly traverses genres with their improvisational grooves and the kind of chemistry only possible among longtime friends. Over the past few years, the band has garnered plenty of attention for their epic live performances, which have earned them a dedicated following around the country. Unlike other bands who took time off during the pandemic, Goose actually ramped up their production, producing a series of intimate virtual events and completing their album Shenanigans Nite Club. The album, which features nine sprawling tracks, would go on to debut at number one on Billboard’s “Top New Artist Albums” chart. In January of this year, the band released the charming single “Borne,” a rumination on the self-doubt that often emerges from the creative process. It’s a reminder to keep pushing forward in the face of adversity, which is a skill the band seems to be particularly adept at.
