Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, is an influential and multi-talented musician hailing from this year’s honored country Ghana. Known as “Africa’s King of Reggae and Dancehall,” Stonebwoy released the hit singles “Climax” and “Ghetto Love” in 2012 before dropping his debut Grade 1 Album. While already a superstar throughout Africa, his 2017 album Epistles of Mama garnered the young artist international attention, peaking at number two on the Billboard reggae charts before earning a slew of awards from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the All Africa Music Awards, and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, among others. His most recent album, 2020’s Anloga Junction, won the Album of the Year award at both the 3Music Awards and the Entertainment Achievement Awards and is widely considered his best work to date. In addition to music, Stonebwoy is also an entrepreneur, actor, philanthropist, and a global ambassador for sanitation.
