2025 Judges’ Seminar – now accepting applications
The 2025 Memphis in May WCBCC Judges’ Seminar will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Old Dominick Distillery in downtown Memphis.
The seminar is held each year to instruct and train barbecue judges for the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.
Topics covered at the Judges Seminar include Memphis in May Judging process and rules, official WCBCC meat categories, scoring process, blind, on-site, and finals judging.
Prospective judges will sample barbecue from a WCBCC championship competition team during simulated judging exercises.
Memphis in May 2025 WCBCC Judges’ Seminar
Saturday, February 8, 2025 – 8 AM-3 PM
Old Dominick Distillery, 305 South Front Street, Memphis, TN 38103
Fee $135 – Includes all instruction, lunch, and sampling from a competition barbecue team.
Space is limited and usually sells out so you are encouraged to apply early.
The deadline to apply is February 3, 2025.
