Bernard Allison

As the youngest son of the revered Chicago bandleader Luther Allison, Bernard Allison was destined to be a bluesman from birth. During his long and distinguished career, the guitar-slinging singer has carried the torch of his father’s lofty legacy while also making a distinct name for himself through his prolific recordings and high energy live performances. From his debut album, The Next Generation, to his latest release ,Highs & Lows, Allison has spread his unique brand of blues around the world and has collaborated with the likes of Cedric Burnside, Bobby Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Koko Taylor. While he has called Paris home for years, Allison’s music remains steeped in the blues traditions of Chicago, Texas, and the Delta.
