Few groups defined ‘90s R&B quite like Baltimore’s Dru Hill, the chart-topping foursome whose hip-hop and gospel-infused music made them international superstars. Seemingly overnight, Dru Hill went from a group of high school friends entertaining patrons at the fudge shop where they all worked to conquering the charts with an impressive deluge of hits, including R&B number-ones “In My Bed”, “Never Make a Promise” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” In addition to the massively successful albums Dru Hill and Enter the Dru, the group also excelled with the singles they contributed to the soundtracks to films such as Soul Food, How to Be a Player, and Eddie. After a series of break-ups and setbacks, Dru Hill has reunited to bring their beloved tunes back to the masses nearly three decades after first forming.
