mike., A.K.A. Mike Stud, A.K.A. Michael Francis Seander, Jr.,  boasts one of the most unique, unexpected, and ultimately inspiring backstories in popular music. Born and raised in Rhode Island, he attended Duke University as a highly touted baseball pitcher, but suffered a debilitating injury during his sophomore year. During his recuperation, mike. began writing rap songs, including the breakout viral hit “College Humour.” Under the moniker Mike Stud, he continued to release new music and steadily build up a fanbase with his feel-good party music. In 2018, he began making music as mike., which found his music and lyricism embracing more mature and personal themes. Earlier this year, he released the EP “Love,” which features the hits “best man” and “white dress.”
