There is an undeniable pleasure that comes from discovering an artist early in their career, right before their big break makes them a household name. For anyone chasing that particular feeling, let us introduce you to Memphis’ own budding young star, Mille Manny, an R&B singer who is well positioned to be the city’s next big thing. Currently a student at Tennessee State University, Manny first started creating music at the age of 9 and hasn’t taken his foot off of the gas since. In 2021, he released his debut EP “First Semester,” which ultimately reached hundreds of thousands of streams. Self-proclaimed as “the Prince of Peace,” Manny is dedicated to using his music to push back against the more negative connotations associated with his hometown.
