The Struts

The first thing you should know about Derby, England’s the Struts is who they count amongst their admirers. How about the Rolling Stones, the Who, Guns ‘N’ Roses, and the Foo Fighters for starters? If that doesn’t impress you, then witnessing just a few minutes of their electric live show will certainly have you hooked. In fact, the band’s name is derived from the swaggering live performances of lead singer Luke Spiller, who has clearly picked up tips from all-time greats such as Freddie Mercury, James Brown, and Mick Jagger. But while the band has largely built their reputation on their stellar live shows, they have also made waves with their recorded material, including the hit songs “Could Have Been Me,” “Low Key in Love,” and “Body Talk.”
